Jastram Header Tank - Aluminum

A Header or Expansion Tank installed at the highest point of the steering system ensures that the system will always remain full of fluid.  the fluid in the tank compensates for the slight expansion of the fluid in the system due to heat. A header tank also helps with proper filling and bleeding of the system. It’s highly recommended when multiple steering stations are incorporated into a steering system.  The sight gauge on the tank allows the operator to observe the level of fluid in the system. If a leak develops it will be immediately apparent.
